Equatours Reviews: Eric & Justine’s Story

Justine & Eric joined us in March this year on a Small Group Escorted Tour of South Africa along with 8 of their friends. Their tailor-made trip included 4-nights in Stellenbosch at the fabulous Spier Wine Estate, a 3-day safari at the beautiful Notten’s Bush Camp in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, and 7-nights at the iconic Winchester Mansions Hotel in Cape Town.

During their trip to the Winelands, they enjoyed several wine-tastings at some of South Africa’s finest vineyards, an MCC and Nougat Experience at the House of J.C. Le Roux, and wine-pairing lunch at the highly-rated Clos Malverne.

Their next stop was the Greater Kruger National Park and the exclusive Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, where the group enjoyed an action-packed safari adventure in the middle of the African bush. The wild animals didn’t wait for the group to find them but decided to visit the lodge themselves when a pack of African Painted Dogs (Wild Dogs) chased an Impala straight into the swimming pool!

Finally, the group returned to South Africa’s Mother City for a week of fun in the sun, which included Table Mountain, Robben Island, a trip to the Cape of Good Hope, a Shark Cage Diving adventure, and lots of wining and dining.

Here’s what Eric had to say about their trip:

Hi Ingo and Wendy

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for providing a truly fantastic and memorable holiday in South Africa. The sights and experiences will never be forgotten, all organised with perfect (almost military precision). Having you both with us added to the experience as you know all the best places to go/visit. We will definitely be coming back to South Africa sometime in the future, as both Justine and I feel that this has been the best all round holiday and destination we have enjoyed.

We were delighted to join the group on this holiday of a lifetime and look forward to travelling the world with them again soon!
