After hearing all about the Cape Argus Cycle Tour from her South African friend Willem, Dawn contacted us in July last year for more information about our Cape Argus Packages to sunny Cape Town.
As they were travelling all the way from Michigan in the USA, Dawn and her two sporty friends Donna and Carol decided on a tailor-made Cape Argus package, which included all flights, 10-nights accommodation, bike rental, Cape Argus registration, transfers, and a few extra ‘treats’ to ensure they had a wonderful stay!
Here’s what Dawn had to say about us:
“I chose to work with Equatours with no prior knowledge of the company or of their services. When sending an inquiry regarding the Cape Argus Tour and the services we might expect by booking with Equatours, I was very comfortable in proceeding. By going with Equatours, in addition to our transportation and hotel accommodations, we were registered for the race, were equipped with exceptional rental bikes, and were provided with a very cool bike jersey. Our trip was extended by a number of days prior to and following the Cape Argus Tour. Wendy & Ingo assisted us with our travel and accommodations for our entire stay. The time we spent with the activities associated with the tour, was outstanding. Ingo and Wendy were available throughout. At no point did we wonder how we would get to our hotel, pick up our packets, secure our bicycles, or what next – – every detail was taken care of for our group. The “extras” were made very special from the extraordinary food and wine at the “end of race” social reception to the fun “picnic” at the top of Lion’s Head mountain following our climb. I can’t wait to join them for another adventure!”
Thank you Wendy & Ingo for a fantastic experience in Cape Town with the Cape Argus Tour and climbing Lion’s Head! You both were so fun to be with and your attention to the details was exceptional!
We had a wonderful time with Dawn, Donna, Carol and Willem (who decided to join us too!), and look forward to our next adventure with our new American and South African friends!
